
The Costa Blanca, Wales and Sardinia offer fantastic ridges and easier rock routes, ideal for the adventurous walker who wants to see the high places, but without rock climbing. Learn the techniques to move over steep and exposed ground safety and efficiently, perhaps using a rope to descend or for protection. Explore the places others don´t go.
Preliminary syllabus (subject to students needs)
Introduction of basic equipment
Use of ropes for protection and descent
Moving over steep and exposed ground
Navigation and route finding
Ascents of ridges and scrambles
All equipment can be provided.
Ratio instructor to Student 1-1 to 1-6
To gain the most from this course you should have experience of mountain walking and a keen interest in scrambling.
