The Orange House

... is situated just 6km from the beachs of the Costa Blanca just outside the Village of Finestrat. Finestrat is a lovely small village that has managed to keep its real Spanish feel. Yet Benidorm is only 7km away and offers lots more than you would think. Theme parks on the door step, an 18 hole golf course, Alicante city for the shopping what more could you ask....

The House is classed as a Casa Rural which is a concept not known in the UK. The house can be rented as a complete Villa to sleep 10, 24 or more or you could just take a bed for a few nights. We aim to be as flexible as you need so :-

Arrive on the day you want.......at the time you want.....alone or in a large group.......for one night or one month......Self catering or full board

The house is run by people who care about your stay, Arrive as guests leave as friends and we mean it....

Do I need a car?

If you are coming to climb then we usually say yes as the closet crag is a 20min drive away. However we offer an airport pickup service, or you can get the bus or train from Alicante. We even have a bus service, although only 3 a day. Taxis from Benidorm to the house are about 14 euros and even less from the large shopping centre just 4km away.

Whats the weather like?

The climbing season is traditionally Oct to April, however with bouldering, Deep Water Soloing and more crags in the shade the season has been extended from Sep to May..

For those that like to chill next to the pool or on the beach during the day and then take advantage of the barmy evenings then the summer months are perfect.ats the weather like?

Eating Options

The village of Finestrat is a 10 min walk from the house and offers a large choice of food options:-

A lovely pizza and burger house, 4 spanish bars that offer honest food at amazing prices, A high class restaurant called Al Fresco has established a name as one of the best restaurants in the area, The Alcazar just around the corner is middle of the road Spanish food. If you drive down into Benidorm then you can eat great curry at Nahwabs (Huddersfield Staff) or any other food you can think of....

Of course you can eat in each night if you want, the two kitchens are fully equipped and the BBQ is available just outside on the terrace.
