What is The Orange House?
The house was originally a Casa Rural, this means a house that people share with the owner, not like any B&B you will have stayed in before. You can book a private room, but then share the facilities that makes the house so unique! TV Room, Large kitchen etc. We opened over 5 years ago and strive hard to create a very relaxed atmosphere. People have returned year after year and we reward them with a loyalty card for discount.
Whats the location like for Climbing?
If you are coming to climb then you really could not be more prefectly placed for all the great crags. Puig Campana at 4625 ft is on the doorstep, it will welcome you in the morning sunshine. Sella the sport climbing mecca is only a 30 minute drive into the mountains. Or drive 30 mins along the coast and you will arrive in Calpe. You really couldnt find a more central location.
Do I need a car?
If you are coming to climb then we usually say yes you will need a car, the closet crag is a 30 minute drive away. However we offer an airport pickup service and as the house always has climbers staying then people can manage to get to the crags by car sharing. You can get a bus from the airport to Benidorm and a taxi to the house for a reasonable amount.

Whats the weather like?
The climbing season is traditionally Oct to April, however with bouldering, Deep Water Soloing and more crags in the shade the season has been extended from Sep to May.
For those that like to chill next to the pool or on the beach during the day and then take advantage of the barmy evenings then the spring months are perfect.ats the weather like

Eating Options
The village of Finestrat is a 10 min walk from the house and offers a large choice of food options:-
A lovely pizza and burger house, 4 spanish bars that offer honest food at amazing prices, A high class restaurant called Al Fresco has established a name as one of the best restaurants in the area, The Alcazar just around the corner is middle of the road Spanish food. If you drive down into Benidorm then you can eat great curry at Nahwabs (Huddersfield Staff) or any other food you can think of....
Of course you can eat in each night if you want, the two kitchens are fully equipped and the BBQ is available just outside on the terrace.
